Killer Cover™: How to Apply & Tips: Post Surgical Coverage for Bruising

1. Bruises from a face lift are covered in the same manner as any other bruise. As bruises fade, they change colors. You may need adjustments in color and even consistency at different times of the healing process.

2. Application of any make up, even after stitches are removed, should be very gentle. Apply make up in a patting motion. Do not rub, pull, or wipe your make up.

3. Ask your doctor when you can start applying make up. It is usually seven days after a procedure.

How to Apply Killer Cover

  1. Use on clean, moisturized skin.
  2. Remove a small amount of product with a spatula or fingers.
  3. Start with the shade closest to your skin tone. If necessary, stipple several shades together until you achieve your perfect match. Dab and pat the make up instead of stroking it onto your skin.
  4. For dark discolorations, first use a color darker than your skin tone, then layer with the shade closest to your skin tone.
  5. Blend into the surrounding area until there is no line of demarcation.
  6. Set with August Minerals™ Finishing Powder using a powder brush. Let powder set for two minutes and buff off excess.
  7. Foundation may be used over the product. Use Killer Cleanser™ Liquefying Formula to remove.
